## What Kopit does

### Everything you copy, searchable

Text, links, images, files, code, screenshots, recordings and colors land in one history, each with a full preview. Start typing and it filters live — even by the words inside your screenshots.

### Never leave the keyboard

⇧⌘V — or a shortcut of your own — opens the panel from any app without stealing its focus. Search, pick and paste without touching the mouse.

### Snippets and text expansion

Save the replies, signatures and files you reuse as Snippets, safe from automatic cleanup. In the direct download, give one an abbreviation like ;em and it expands in any app.

### Capture, record, pin

Screenshots with a full annotation editor, scrolling capture, and screen recording to MP4 or GIF — all of it lands in your history, and any of it can be pinned above every window as a reference.

## What we care about

Apps that do one job well and feel at home on macOS. For Kopit that means a panel one shortcut away that never steals focus from the app you are typing in, and gets out of the way the moment you paste.

## Your data stays yours

Your clipboard history lives on your Mac. There is no analytics, telemetry or tracking in the app, and concealed items such as passwords are skipped. iCloud sync across your Macs is optional and off until you turn it on; it runs through your own iCloud account, encrypted so we can't read it. We run no servers that hold your clipboard.
